Toppsta Book Review: The Dinosaur That Pooped The Past

The third rhythmically revolting installment of the Dinosaur that pooped... from the uber talented McFly boys had my (very nearly) 4 year old Ted in skips of excitement! The book sees Danny and Dinosaur go back through history on a time travelling swing encountering new Dino buddies A,B+C and encountering an erupting volcano with only one thing to do to save them all!
Ted's bed time reading with Terry T-Rex and Steggie!

I have to say this book did not disappoint our already high expectations, it was super fun to read as an adult with hidden references to Back To The Future & Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey and an easy fun rhyme throughout which excited and involved both of us as we knew what was about to happen following the formula of the previous two books.

Ted had tears of laughter throughout (show me a 3 year old boy who doesn't love the word poo!) and listened intently taking in the awesome colourful illustrations. The story was easy to follow & language not too complex. I'm wandering if this book would also suit younger boys and girls to make potty training a bit less daunting? Poo & humor do go hand in hand!  It was perfect for a 3.5 year old and above, the references to Romans & Egyptians sparked other angles of interest in Ted - the latest pick from the library is all about Ancient Egypt! I really can't fault this book, it comes with a massive recommendation from Mummy & Ted.
